Rachel Whittington

Rachel began as a GreenCorps member at the watershed district in the fall of 2023. In August 2024 she became a full time employee of the watershed district. Her role is to assist with the Soil Health Program through data collection and analysis, as well as with the Wetland Program through assessment and inventory of wetlands in the RPBCWD boundaries and the administration of the Wetland Conservation Act. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2023 with a degree in Chemistry.
Rachel loves having the opportunity to work with a close-knit team while exploring the beautiful nature areas that exist within the District. In her spare time, Rachel loves running, biking and hiking on trails in the Twin Cities, as well exploring new restaurants, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with friends and family.
