Through financial assistance, examples, and tools, we want to help you take action for healthy water resources in your neighborhood, city, watershed, and beyond. Join a community of stewards who are changing norms and building the future of clean water.

Grant Programs

Our grant programs aim to help make your clean water project or education idea a reality.

Stewardship Grant

Cost share for projects that protect and improve natural resources. Examples: Native plantings, shoreline buffers, habitat restoration, and tree trenches. Who can apply: residents, non-profits, schools, businesses, local government.

May contain: grove, land, nature, outdoors, plant, tree, vegetation, woodland, face, head, person, photography, portrait, clothing, pants, boy, child, male, soil, grass, park, adult, female, woman, machine, wheel, and people

Action Grant

Small, simple grants for team projects and activities that protect clean water. Examples: an Earth day clean-up, planting native flowers with a group of friends. Who can apply: Residents, Students, Local businesses, Groups or troops

Educator Grant

Support for educators to incorporate water resources into their teaching. Examples: a trip to a nature center, building terrariums, nets for exploring a creek. Who can apply: Teachers and Informal Educators
